Xiaomi’s sub-brand has been working on its own Redmi K20 for the last few weeks. The phone will be announced on May 28 at an event in Beijing.
The phone is said to have a Snapdragon 855 processor that is capable of scoring on the AnTuTu benchmark. There will be a full screen on the rear camera, and the handset will feature a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor. We have no official confirmation on the other two sensor sensors, but expect one lens and one wide lens. Another highlight of the Redmi K20 is its support for video. Slimo.
Lu Weibing’s GM confirmed yesterday that the phone will feature the same 960 fps slo-mo recording as the Xiaomi Mi 9.
After the launch in Beijing, China, the K20 will also travel to the shores of India. The exact release date for India has yet to be revealed, but expect more details soon.
